Why I think Baker deck is underrated
The new season of The Bakersfield Magic is about to kick off with a special episode featuring the Baker’s deck, featuring a pair of talented musicians.
The Bakersfields newest installment, The Baker Deck, is a jazz-based jam band that’s been performing since 2014.
The show is filled with tunes that are reminiscent of a more contemporary jazz-rock outfit, like “Dancing Queen” and “Pour It Up,” but with a different rhythmic tone.
The new season will be available for pre-order on the Bakers website for a set price of $12.95.
The Baker’s new show, however, is different from the other shows, with musicians like Brandon, Tyler and Taylor playing jazz and pop standards that aren’t typical of the jazz genre.
Music by Brandon, who is known for his work on the band Dazed and Confused, and Taylor, who plays with the band The Hives, are the show’s star players.
The trio are joined by Taylor, Baker and her bandmate Tyler.
The new Baker’s season kicks off with the “Souvenir Song” and the “Baker Deck” from “The Baker,” a jam band song that’s a tribute to The Hogs.
The episode, titled “The Gift,” is set in the new season’s first episode, “The Golden Age of Baker,” where Baker is still trying to work her way back from a devastating car accident that left her with a spinal cord injury.
The episode focuses on Baker’s struggles to relearn how to play and write and how Baker’s relationship with her husband is affected by the accident.
This week’s episode will also feature Taylor performing her latest song, “Pours It Up.”
In this episode, Taylor will be joined by Baker’s daughter, Taylor, as they’re joined by the Baker Sisters, Taylor’s sister, and her husband, Tyler, to perform a song that is a love letter to her dad.
The song is written by Tyler and features Taylor’s singing voice.
“It’s a song about the love of a woman and how it can come back in unexpected ways,” she sings.
“I think it’s really nice to hear from my sister again.”
The episode also features a new song from Baker’s son, Taylor.
“Pears” is a song by Taylor’s son called “Hippie,” which he sang on the show during an interview with the Baker sisters.
“It’s like a beautiful tribute song, I just wanted to do something for the sisters,” Taylor said.
“So I’ve written a love song for them, a tribute song for the Baker girls, that I recorded for them.”
The Baker’s Season 10 will premiere on April 9 at 8 p.m.
ET on the channel’s website.
The channel will also be airing an episode of “The Baker Deck” on Thursday, April 11, at 7 p.y.m., with a new episode on Saturday, April 15, at 9 p.am.
