Trump wants to ban all skateboards

The president wants to eliminate the “skateboarding decks” that have been popular among young adults.

Trump has made a series of anti-skateboards pledges, including banning all skateboard decks from the nation’s playgrounds and requiring manufacturers to make sure their skateboards are made in the U.S.

A recent poll found that 68 percent of Americans support banning skateboards from parks and playgrounds.

A recent study from the University of Wisconsin found that skateboarding in urban areas and on sidewalks is most prevalent in lower income and minority communities.
