Concrete decking from US-based firm, TXT, comes to market
In the past few weeks, Texas-based TXT has released a new decking material, Trex Decking Lowes, that comes to the market in six sizes and offers a wide range of applications.
The company’s new product is available in the US, Canada, Mexico, South America and China.
The materials, which are available in both concrete and plywood forms, have been in the pipeline for several years.
TXT claims the new materials are more durable and less susceptible to moisture, but there’s no way to test them in actual use.
It will be interesting to see how these new materials fare in real world applications.
The company said its new products are currently in the testing phase.
It also announced that it is expanding its footprint into other markets, with plans to open stores in Singapore, Hong Kong and Singapore.
We will update this story when TXT’s products make it to store shelves in those countries.
Trex Deck is a proprietary material designed for building high-performance, high-strength concrete decks.
These decking materials are made of a mix of natural wood and concrete that can withstand temperatures of up to 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit (930 degrees Celsius) for long periods of time.
The materials have been widely used in building construction for over 50 years.
The material is a popular choice for construction applications because of their low weight, durability and low cost, which is a significant advantage for builders who can’t afford to build large-scale structures.
The first batch of TXT Decking materials were released in 2016 and in 2017 TXT was awarded a $2.7 million contract to supply the material to the US government for construction of the US border wall.
